Popular Spots in Salt Lake for Breakfast and Brunch

On your day off, especially on the weekends, there’s nothing better than waking up and enjoying some of your favorite breakfast and brunch dishes. Some of us are not morning people and love sleeping in. That’s why brunch is the perfect morning meal. Check out these popular breakfast/brunch joints that will fulfill your morning cravings.

The Park Café
This popular café is where friends meet for breakfast. The Park Café is located right across the street from Liberty Park and is always busy. There is usually at least a 30-minute wait, especially on weekends, so be sure to arrive early. Many people rave about their delicious french toast and their friendly service. Our favorite is their chai latte. So tasty! If you’re in the downtown area, stop by the Park Café where they serve generous portions and have reasonable prices.

Penny Ann’s Café
Penny Ann’s is a family-run café that offers delicious breakfast. Open from 7 a.m. –2:30 p.m., you have plenty of time to sleep in and still enjoy a scrumptious meal. Their signature “Heavenly Hot Cakes” is a must-try, light and fluffy pancake that attracts a lot of attention from foodies all over town. For dessert, they have over 10 different flavors of pie for your eating pleasure.

Roots Café
One of our favorite brunch joints on the east side of Salt Lake is definitely Roots Café. They offer outdoor seating, an extensive menu, and vegetarian-friendly options. From their breakfast burritos to their specialty pancakes, there’s something for everyone. It’s definitely hard to decide what to get because there are so many delicious choices. One of our favorite brunch items is the eggs benedict. For all you eggs benedict aficionados, you must try Roots Café.

What is a Car Detailing Service all About?

If you’re a beginner to car detailing, reading this blog will give you a basic understanding of what it’s all about. A commonly asked question is, “What is the difference between car washing and car detailing?”

Car washing focuses on cleaning the exterior of your vehicle. People wash their cars to keep their car looking clean and to remove dirt and other environmental contaminants from their vehicle. A simple way to wash your car is to go to a car wash drive through, or some people prefer to wash their vehicle at home with soap and water. At any car wash, there are different washes you can choose varying from a basic wash to a more advanced car wash that can include polishing and waxing.

Car detailing, also known as auto detailing, focuses on a top-to-bottom, interior and exterior cleaning of your vehicle using specialized products and tools. Car detailing simply focuses on cleaning the tiny details of your vehicle to keep it in excellent condition. Just like car washing, there are different detailing packages you can choose from. A basic car detailing package might only include a few services, while a full car detailing service will include much more. Here are some exterior and interior car detailing services that you might see:

Exterior
  • Paint Care: The paint on your vehicle is very delicate and most detailing services will properly wash, dry, clean, polish, and wax your exterior.
  • Wheels: Some services will clean the inside and outside of your wheels and use a protectant to protect your wheels from corrosion and cracking.
  • Headlights and Taillights: Some detailing services will apply a polishing product and protectant to help keep your headlights and taillights from fading.

Interior
  • Carpet and Upholstery: A cleaning of all carpet and seating surfaces should be included in a car detailing service. Some services can include deep cleaning to remove built up stains and grime.
  • Interior Surfaces: Some services will go as far as cleaning surfaces and crevices, including your dashboard, consoles, cup holders, door handles, side panels, and much more.

Depending on how emaculate you want your vehicle to be, additional services may be offered at your request. At Larry H. Miller Lexus Murray, you can take advantage of our September service special and treat your Lexus to a day at the spa. This includes a full detail (inside and out), a loaner vehicle, an oil change, and a tire rotation and balance for only $299.
